| Mammals are identified by a combination
of warm blood, body fur or hair, and glands that produce milk to
feed their young; beyond these few common traits, however, mammals
are wildly diverse in shape, size, habitat and behavior. From our
common domestic animals (dogs, cats, horses and goats) to their
wild cousins (wolves, lions and gorillas) and including human beings,
mammals make up a classification of animal as varied as people in
              the world. |
